Sound Seafood (Approx. 1.2kg) Wild British Seabass

Wild Seabass – Rare, Rich, and the Real Deal

• One whole wild seabass (gutted and descaled)
• Typically 1.2kg (serves 4–6)
• Caught by fishermen in Devon and Cornwall, expertly prepared by our fishmongers and ready to cook
• Best roasted, grilled, or baked whole on the bone

This is not your average seabass. While most seabass available in the UK is farmed, this is the real thing — a true wild fish, caught in its natural habitat and brought to shore by small boats fishing the coastline of Devon and Cornwall.

Wild seabass lives freely in fast-moving waters, growing more slowly and developing firmer flesh, deeper flavour, and higher levels of natural Omega-3 oils. You’ll taste the difference — and you’ll see it too: at around 1.2kg, these fish are significantly larger than their farmed cousins and ideal for sharing.
Supplied whole, gutted and descaled, this seabass is ready to cook and makes a spectacular centrepiece. Roast it simply with lemon, garlic and herbs, or grill it over charcoal to let the natural richness of the fish shine through.

Wild, rare, and absolutely worth it.

Ingredients: Seabass (Dicentrarchus Labrax)
