Preparation and Safety

Cooking instructions: Shallow Fry

Guidelines only, appliances may vary: Ensure product is piping hot before serving. Remove all packaging. 1 Heat some oil in a non-stick pan on medium high heat. 2 Flake the mince into the pan and leave for one minute before stirring. 3 Continue cooking for 12-15 minutes, stirring regularly. Once browned, add your spices and sauces. Remember cook fully before adding ingredients

Storage

Keep refrigerated, consume within use by date. This product has been previously frozen and returned to chill temperature. Suitable for freezing. Freeze before the use by date. Use within 1 month. If frozen, defrost before cooking (in a refrigerator) and use within 24 hours. Do not re-freeze.

Lovely mince but you cannot guarantee the weightI bought this when it was on offer and really enjoyed it. The texture was the same as meat mince without the lumps of fat. The only reason for 4 stars was because as there is only 2 of us at home I divided the mince in half as it is for 4. As it was 350g, I put nearly 160g into a sealed container as it looked about half, but when I weighed what was left it was only about 140g which made a total of 300g. I thought that if the average weight was 350g, then the container should have had nearly that weight, I did not expect to be short by nearly 50g.

That's Acceptable if it is fresh vegetables which is expected of short expiry

date. But for frozen foods, I think in general, should have 1-2 months to consume...Or at least, has a warning message of short expiry as most health food companies do.

So this time would make me felt I was caught.

Best vegan mince EVERWe go out of our way to get this specific mince. The trick is to fry it off separately, with seasonings, and then add it to any type of sauce. We use it for Bolognese, shepherds pie and mexican. You cannot go wrong!

Super versatile for many dishes!Extremely versatile product with a very delicate taste, so it's great as a base to create your own wonders! I use this in particular to make home made patties, it's extremely tasty if cooked with other ingredients as a stuffing for cabbage rolls or any stuffing.
I find the texture spot on and quite a great value considering the weight....so yummy!

Try it. You’ll be impressed.Tried this on a whim. And was pleasantly surprised.
I made veggie cottage pie with it and it was so convincingly meat, I had to check the packet to see whether I had actually used meatless farm. It’s a little dry in the pan, I added some water to loosen it up. Also added soy sauce and yeast extract to give it a more browned look. Top tip use Iadhoan cheese mash for topping. quick and tasty. highly recommended 👍
