Boozy Mincepie anyone?Disclaimer: I'm not a big wine drinker! But this I can drink. Leave it lingering under the tongue for 20s and the fuit just zings. I, personally, can quaff this all night, and couples brilliantly with a decent filet or beefed up bolognese. Some have said it give a naff aftertaste, but I just don't get it. My son commented it tastes a little different on each mouthful, so I guess it doesn't lack depth? Anyway, it's definitely a favourite in our household.

Very oddI bought this wine on the recommendation of a friend who loves it. Reviews suggest one either loves it or finds it quite unpalatable. I regret, I am of the latter view. Far to sweet, jammy and strangely peculiar. Left a very unpleasant aftertaste. Only tried one bottle, so may not be representative. However, clearly, some people love it!

A bit syrupyArrived as a substitute for “Diablo Red” . Thought I would try it. Drinkable but sweeeter than I like, quite syrupy. Didn’t hate but certainly didn’t love, wouldn’t be my choice. A nic3 summer drink served chilled - yes, chilled, I quite like some reds chilled for the summer but not dry or spicy enough for normal use.

All I buy nowI've been drinking this since it first came out, having loved the original. We now refer to them as "the good stuff" and this is "the really good stuff".
Rarely get anything else now, it's a staple.

Smooth, full- bodied full of fruit.This is a blended wine with hints of rich dark fruits that make it incredibly rich, smooth and extremely drinkable with or without food. I have never been disappointed. Highly recommended.
