Cooking instructions: Shallow Fry

Pan fry for 4-6 mins in a pre-heated pan on a low-medium heat with 2 tbsp of oil. Stir frequently. Not suitable for microwave cooking. Remove all packaging before cooking. Ensure product is piping hot before serving.

Terrible!Absolutely terrible, since they ‘crowdfunded’ and got bigger, they just simply started to care less about the overall texture and taste of the product.
The product looks nothing like picture on the packet. It’s now become a super processed lump of gloop, frozen and well marketed.

Weird tasteused to think the old ones were too dense/dry but with an alright flavour. these have a better texture but taste and smell absolutely vile. alright if you chop them small so you only get a small bit at a time.

The chicken replacer I've been waiting for!Excellent high-protein chicken ingredient delivering on texture, taste and nutrition. Pure and simple, I love how they have left it naked for customers to season as they wish, just like real chicken. Perfect for midweek meals and meal-prep!

A serious improvement on their previousThese are a huge step-forward from their old ones. They brown like real chicken, giving off a nice golden colour, and have a subtle chicken note flavour. The texture means you could add these to a curry and keep everyone happy.

Too chicken-yI've been a vegan for 20 years and thought I'd escaped meat for good. The problem with these is they're so convincing. They've even somehow managed to make them smell like a farmyard. (Where on earth do you buy "essence of farmyard"?!) And unfortunately this is the way all fake meat is going. I've just put Sainsbury's Plant Pioneers chicken I my basket as the ingredients look fairly neutral but I'm not holding out much hope. Sainsbury's seem to have stopped selling Dopsu too which had quite a nice subtle flavour.
I guess if you genuinely miss chicken these would be great! But I find them inedible.

AppallingI never leave reviews but this called for special measures. Bought it as an alternative to Quorn and I'm truly sad I did - disgusting garlicky taste bordering on inedible, had to throw it away after the first half bite and then take out the garbage as well because of the smell.

Don't buy - if you're a vegetarian there's a bigger chance you'd rather eat a real chicken than this.

It definitely isn't...I love this brand's sausages (5*)and the bacon lardons (4*), but these were disgusting. I was not expecting full chicken flavour or texture, but these were just rank all round (used in a curry).

Perfect chicken substituteI am so impressed with this product and have been cooking with it since it was first introduced into the market . It is brilliant in pasta,pies,curries,risotto, paella and I can honestly say that ,having tried nearly all of the other chicken substitutes on the market, this wins hands down . No meat substitute can replicate the exact taste or texture of meat but this is close and no chickens were slaughtered !

Amazing product!I absolutely love this product and will continue to buy. As a flexitarian, I find it extremely similar in texture to real chicken and it has a subtle meaty flavour that works well in loads of dishes. The whole family love it!
