Ready to eat. If you choose to cook them, simply remove all packaging. All appliances vary, these are guidelines only. Check product is piping hot before serving.

Cooking instructions: Oven cook

12 Minutes. Preheat oven and baking tray to 200°C/Fan 180°C/Gas 6. Cook on the middle shelf. If cooking from frozen cook for 18 minutes.

Cooking instructions: Air Fry

8 Minutes. Preheat air fryer to 180°C. Place into basket, shake halfway. Allow to stand for 1 minute.

Transport to middle eastI bought this make to try. Love a falafel but sometimes are quite dry. These are nice tasting and not too dry. I needed a quick snack so ate half on bus home. They are ideal for this and weren't too high in syns for my diet win win

great straight from the boxI eat these cold straight from the pack, and they are the best I've found for eating cold - light and fluffy texture and great taste. Healthy ingredients (though I wish they were organic, at least the chickpeas). I consider them a bit expensive though when full price, especially for a non-organic product.

It's all in the cookingI heated these up in the oven, as instructed. But I didn't enjoy them. They felt mealy, Surely this is not right? They shouldn't feel mealy. It occurred to me to look up online how the genuine article is cooked, and found the answer to my question: Falafels are normally deep fried. No mention of that on the label, alas.

Contains wheatNote that these falafels contain wheat, in case anyone makes the mistake I almost made assuming they would be gluten free. Falafels aren't traditionally made with any wheat, which no doubt is added here as a filler.

Good for snackingGood for snacking and hopefully healthy. I found it a little too salty and lacking the herby freshness of the homemade falafels.

For me - the bestLovely texture - not hard like the Sainsbur's own. Larger in size than most shop brought ones. Simple ingredients. For me the best shops have offer.

Hit or miss depending on your preferencesI usually pick these up when they're on offer. I like the taste and fond them versatile. Great for a quick tasty snack or as part of a delicious meal. Now these won't be for everyone, but I like the texture and taste personally.
