Perfectly paired with grilled steak or a rich tomato ragu
The wine has a bright, intense ruby red colour with aromas of fresh redcurrant and black fruit like blueberry and blackberry, along with a touch of flint. On the palate it is very textural with depth and juiciness, intense and approachable tannins. The finish is soft, velvety and succulent. Multi-Michelin starred chef Gordon Ramsay and renowned Italian winemaker Alberto Antonini worked together to create this range of wines from Italy's best wine growing regions.
“It was a huge pleasure to collaborate on this project with Alberto Antonini, one of Italy's greatest winemakers. I'm very proud of what we've created and hope food and wine lovers across the world will love it as much as I do." - Gordon Ramsay

History: Multi-Michelin starred chef, Gordon Ramsay, has opened a string of successful restaurants across the globe. Selecting the wines to match his menus is as important to Gordon as perfecting the dishes themselves. He has worked in partnership with renowned Italian winemaker Alberto Antonini to create a range from some of Italy’s best wine-growing regions, combining Gordon's passion with the heart and soul of Italian winemaking. Since launching in 2021, the collection has been awarded a total of three awards, including Drinks Business Gold and Decanter World Wine Awards.
Regional information: A unique cross regional blend from the rugged coastal region of Abruzzo famed for its reliability to produce consistent and good quality wines with Tuscan Vermentino bringing minerality and freshness to the blend. The average age of the vineyards is 10 years with the fruit picked using a combination of hand and machine harvest.
Vinification: The fruit was destemmed and gently pressed prior to a 48 hour cold soak at 12°C to extract soft tannins and primary, bright flavours. Fermentation was at 25°C and the cap was continuously pumped over to avoid over extraction. 20% of the wine spent 9-12 months in 5 year old large oak casks and the remaining wine was aged in a mixture of concrete and stainless steel tanks.
