Great Yorkshire WaterThis is simply one of the best mineral waters out there. Just the right amount of mineralisation, not even slightly salty but actually tasting like water (although that sounds strange), unlike tap water where the chemical treatments can be tasted.

Carbonation levels are just right, enough to sparkle on your tongue without causing you to fill with gas when drinking.

For me at least this water tastes best as cold as possible, straight out of the fridge.

Lovely Fresh Taste.This water is absolutely lovely, light and fresh tasting. Another plus point is that it comes in a glass bottle, as water should. I find that regardless of the Brand, drinks in plastic bottles just never seems to taste quite right, it acquires a slight plastic taste. I infinitely prefer a glass bottle and am willing to pay the bit extra for it. I love everything about this product, but agree with the other comments, to have a litre bottle instead .

Bad after tasteI don't know why other reviewers are saying it tastes fresh and clean because to me it tastes as though it's contaminated with something. At first I get a slightly detergent type of taste and then a metallic aftertaste.

Perhaps it tastes bad to me because I'm used to Highland Spring water, which has been recently discontinued. That really does taste fresh and clean so please bring it back because I'm having
to pay a lot more to get it elsewhere.

I've given the Harrogate water 2 stars because it's in glass bottles but I don't like it and I don't recommend it if you can get Highland Spring water in glass bottles.

Tight topsI completely agree with the other reviewers that Harrogate water is the best with a lovely smooth taste and would give it 5 stars for that .

But I have given it 1 star because of my frustration with trying to open the bottles. Several weeks ago I ordered 10 bottles and every one was impossible to open as the tops were so tight, they wouldn't even twist round.

I contacted Harrogate Water and they told me they were aware of the situation and were planning to use different machinery to fix the problem.

When I contacted Sainsbury's they gave me a refund and told me to throw the bottles out .

Last week I decided to take a chance and ordered 6 more bottles, the same thing has happened the tops are impossible to open. I feel this product should not be in store until it is sorted out.

Best value British Spring WaterThis is the best value British spring water in a glass bottle. Yes it is more expensive that the plastic bottle but won't stay around polluting the planet for 1000s of years so I prefer to pay just a little bit more for that reason. Perfect for white/rose wine spritzer and also for G&T (Gin plus half and half tonic/spring water). Happy Days!
