Options Belgian Hot Chocolate drink, better than aI ordered this Options Vegan online last week, considering it is only 40 calories per mug and silky smooth and sweet I must say I am impressed, I have tried a lot of hot chocolate drinks in the past, even more expensive ones, Options Belgian Hot Chocolate drink surpassed them all, I wish they did a larger size one though.

Shrinkflation with massive cost increase :(Product is good but when I first started buying this the contents were full to below the screw lid area. The cost has risen dramatically & the last couple of pots bought are only up to the top of the 'cinch' area meaning a good couple of inches below the original amount. This is not settlement, I store in a Monty Bojangles cat tin, couldn't fit 2 pots in together, now can fit 2 in easily with room to spare for at least 1/2 another pot possibly more! Unfortunately there aren't many Vegan products like this available

Nice but weak and sweetI agree with the previous reviewer, it has a nice flavour but not enough cocoa vs sweetener. I use one teaspoon and a teaspoon of cocoa and it’s perfect. Makes this last longer too!

It's OKSince becoming lactose intolerant I've had to give up hot chocolate. (I don't see the point in wasting lactase tablets on a drink).

I was told by a friend with a dairy allergy that this was the best non-dairy hot chocolate on the market, and it's not bad. It does taste a bit like cheap easter egg chocolate, and it is FAR TOO SWEET with a overpowering tang of sweetener. I'm not anti sweetener, I often use it, but not in the volume that it is in this drink. If they dropped the sweetener and put a bit more cocoa in it, they could be onto a winner. I added a few drops of peppermint oil to it, and it did make it taste better.

The other thing is that at £5 a jar, it's idiotically expensive. I bought it today because it was on Nectar price at £3.50. I would not buy this at full price. I probably wouldn't even stock up when it's on offer.

However, if you are non-dairy, for whatever reason, and can't bear the thought of never having hot chocolate again, this is a good option (pun intended).

Love! 🩷I love this vegan hot chocolate. It’s definitely the nicest one I’ve bought from a supermarket, which surprised me considering it’s from the ‘diet’ range! Much nicer than the more ‘luxurious’ vegan hot chocolates I’ve bought.

One I can finally drink!I love a hot a chocolate like most people but being lactose intolerant limits one I can have due to most of them having powdered skimmed milk in them. This one doesn’t which is great it doesn’t make me bloat up like a balloon. It’s delicious but my only grumble is there aren’t any other flavours just because it’s vegan doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy other flavours like everyone else there’s so many others in the options range. Not fair options sort it out! Also takes the biscuit when it’s been put up in price why are we being charged so much just because it’s vegan? I have this sparingly & but extra when it’s on offer £5 now it’s not cheap!!
