Our gourmet sausages are influenced by chef and gourmet sausage maker Martin Heap whose sausage recipes were launched into Sainsbury's back in 1996. We use 88% coarsley chopped pork bellies and shoulders for the perfect succulence. This Old English recipe uses our signature seasoning with black pepper, nutmeg and a pinch of sage, then wrapped in our dry cured, traditionally oak smoked streaky bacon. Perfect for an indulgent Christmas dinner

Cooking instructions: Other
To air fry from chilled. Air fryers vary in their performance so please consult manufacturer’s guidance. Cook times are only a guideline and based on a whole pack. Before cooking: Preheat air fryer to 180°C. Remove all packaging. During cooking: Cook for 12 minutes. Shake halfway through cooking. After cooking: Check food is piping hot throughout and the juices run clear. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.
Cooking instructions: Oven
Oven cook from chilled but can also be cooked in the air fryer. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before cooking. Before cooking: Preheat oven to 200°C/ Fan 180°C /Gas 6. Remove all packaging. Place on a baking tray on the middle shelf of the oven. During cooking: Cook for 25 minutes. Turn halfway through cooking. After cooking: Check food is piping hot throughout and the juices run clear. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.

When cooked some pinking may remain on the surface of the sausages due to being in contact with the bacon. This is a natural occurrence and completely safe.

For use by date: see front of pack. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, use within 2 days and do not exceed the use by date.
Defrost thoroughly and use within 24 hours. Do not refreeze once defrosted.
For best quality, freeze as soon as possible after purchase and always within the use by date. Once frozen use within 2 months. This product has been previously frozen and defrosted without affecting the quality or safety of the product. It is still suitable for home freezing.
