History: Created in 1936 in Gigondas, Gabriel Meffre was known for his visionary approach in winemaking and blending. 80 years later our winemakers continue his legacy by carefully selecting expressive grape varieties from the various parcels and blending them together to produce enjoyable full bodied wines ; Our commitment to Durable development has also incited us to launch extensions of Organic wines in all our ranges.
Regional information: Gard and Vaucluse, in southern France, benefit from a warm Mediterranean climate ideal for viticulture. Vaucluse is known for prestigious Rhône appellations and structured wines, while Gard produces approachable, fruit-driven styles from diverse soils. Together, they form a key part of the southern Rhône wine region.
Vinification: Machine harvested from 35 year old vines in the month of September. Fermentation at 25 degrees C with malolactique treatment before assembly for 15 days in concrete and stainless steel tanks.
