Decaf, with no compromises. This is one flavourful, characterful cup - a blend of coffees from smallholder farmers in Rwanda and Sumatra, with caffeine removed by natural process without chemicals. It's indulgent, rich and full-bodied, with hints of dark caramel. Enjoy. Notes of ginger and dark chocolate We hand-roast our coffee in small batches to develop delicious flavour and aroma for each individual coffee.

Our Story

San Francisco, the '90s. Flannel shirts, scruffy hair. The smell of fresh-roasted coffee lingers in the air and captivates the senses.

Great tasting coffee.I struggle to find decent tasting decaffeinated coffee and quite often end up not using all that I purchased as it is hard work. I liked the simple packaging of the Union coffee and that it was hand roasted. It produces a smooth enjoyable tasting coffee. It cost a little more but as I will use all of it then it works for me.

DeliciousBeen looking for months to find a decent decaf and had given up til I spotted Union decaf. Bit more pricey but totally totally worth it. Delicious rich flavour without being harsh and tastes just like regular fullcaff. Finally found my decaf fave. Thank you thank you thank you

Rich flavour-a Decaf surprise!For a few years I've been drinking a locally roasted decaf coffee which uses water to remove the caffeine. (I believe some processes to remove caffeine can involve chemicals). I noticed Union decaf also doesn't use chemicals so I thought I'd try it.
I'm really impressed with the rich deep flavour delicous! Will buy another bag while it's offer. May even totally switch over :-O

Weak and TastlessI normally use Sainsburys Organic Fairtrade ground coffee which I love but wanted to try a decaf one. I was worried that at a rating of 5 it would be too strong but it is the opposite. I've tried using more than the recommended amount but still not good.

Delicious coffee!Strongly flavoured, without being at all harsh. The blurb on the back says it has overtones of black treacle and chocolate, and for once this describes it perfectly. Really good coffee, and we're very impressed.

Best EverI always buy decaff strength 3, and decided to try this as it was on special offer. I did think that strength 5 would perhaps be bitter, but in fact found it to have a wonderful deep, rich flavour. I shall now be buying this as "My Favourite", despite it being dearer than my usual decaff. Well done UNIONROASTED for working with farmers to produce this quality coffee.
