Our Taste the Difference Discovery Hot Smoked BBQ range showcases true Texan barbecue, using prime British beef, chicken and outdoor‑bred pork. Each small batch is seasoned with a simple, well‑balanced coarse dry rub that lets the quality of the meat shine.
The cuts are hot smoked over real oak wood, creating a caramelised, flavour‑rich bark and a sweet, nutty smoke profile. They’re then cooked low and slow for exceptional tenderness and a pull‑apart texture. Cooking instructions: Other
To cook on the hob and oven cook from chilled. Before cooking: Preheat oven. Remove product from box and place the gravy sachet to one side. Carefully place half chicken in pouch into boiling water and boil in bag for 10 minutes. During cooking: Carefully remove pouch from water. Open the bag and decant half chicken onto an ovenable tray with all cooking juices. Place tray on the middle shelf of the oven and cook for 15 minutes. Decant gravy into a pan and heat over a moderate heat for 3 minutes stirring frequently until hot. After cooking: Check food is piping hot. Place gravy into a small jug to serve. Do not reheat once cooled. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.

Oven cook from chilled but can also be cooked on the hob and finished in the oven. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before cooking. Before cooking: Preheat oven. Remove product from box and place the gravy sachet to one side. Remove product from pouch and place onto an ovenable tray. Place tray on the middle shelf of the oven and cook for 35 minutes. During cooking: Decant gravy into a pan and heat over a moderate heat for 3 minutes stirring frequently until hot. After cooking: Remove tray from oven and discard any cooking juices.
