Cooking instructions: Other
To pan fry and oven cook from chilled. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before cooking. Before cooking: Remove all packaging. Allow steaks to rest at room temperature for 20 minutes. Preheat oven to 200⁰C/Fan 180⁰C/Gas 6. Rub with 5ml of oil and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Preheat frying pan to a high heat. During cooking: For best results the pan must be hot. Seal steaks for 4 minutes turning regularly. Transfer steaks from the pan and place onto preheated tray into the oven. Cooking time for rare is 7-9 minutes, medium 9-11 minutes and well done 14-16 minutes, turning halfway through. After cooking: Allow to rest out of the tray for 2 minutes before serving. This product should be cooked until piping hot throughout. If cooking rare, check the surface is fully seared/browned. This is a guide only. All cooking appliances vary.
