To air fry from chilled. Before Cooking: Air fryers vary in their performance so please consult manufacturer’s guidance. Cook times are only a guideline and based on 0.9kg portion. Remove all packaging. Wrap the joint in foil, leaving the top rind of the joint exposed and place in the air fryer. After Cooking: Remove from air fryer and allow to rest in a warm place for 10 minutes before carving. Carefully remove strings with scissors, carve and enjoy hot or cold. Check food is piping hot throughout, all juices run clear. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only. Air fry from chilled 180°C 20 mins per 500g plus 30 mins
Cooking instructions: Oven
Oven cook from chilled but can also be air fried. Before cooking: Preheat the oven. Remove all packaging. Rest the joint for 10 minutes. Pat the rind dry with kitchen paper towel. Place on a foil lined baking tray. Place on the middle shelf of the oven. During cooking: Cook for the time calculated for the first hour. After 1 hour, turn the oven down to 200°C/Fan 180°C/Gas 6 and cook for the remaining time. After cooking: Remove from the oven and allow to rest for 10 minute before carving. Carefully remove strings with scissors. Carefully remove crackling with a knife and cut into small pieces. Check food is piping hot throughout and all juices run clear. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only. This gammon can be soaked for a milder flavour. Submerse in a bowl of cold water overnight in the fridge (from 1 hour to overnight). Discard water and pat dry with kitchen paper towel before cooking. Oven cook from chilled 230°C/Fan 220°C/Gas 8 25 mins per 500g plus 30 mins

For use by date: see front of pack. Keep refrigerated. Once opened, use immediately and do not exceed the use by date.
Defrost thoroughly in the fridge and use within 24 hours. Do not refreeze once defrosted.
For best quality, freeze as soon as possible after purchase and always within the use by date. Once frozen use within 2 months.
