Synthetic taste like airplane foodI received this packet as a free trial from Sainsburys and was quite looking forward to trying these buns as a weekend treat. However, it was like eating a plane pastry in that it was very synthetic tasting, probably due to the long life / preservative aspect, and had a faint vinegary smell that comes with bread 'on the turn'. Overall it made me feel quite queasy and the custard element was more stodgy than anything else. My partner didn't mind them so much and would give them a 2 star rating.

Very tasty & moreish!I obtained these as a freebie from Sainsbury's - I wouldn't have bought them otherwise, as I'm not a fan of brioche. I tried one with trepidation and I've been converted. They are individually wrapped, so perfect for brekkie on the go or lunchboxes etc. I certainly recommend them.

New and tastyI obtained these from a free sainsburys discover sample. Was a bit unsure what they would be like but they are yummy. Light and fluffy, tasty, not too sweet and ideal for a quick breakfast as I don’t eat cereals. Will definitely be buying these in the future.

WHERE'S THE CUSTARD?I was really looking forward to trying these and expecting some sort of creamy custard filling, but I could barely taste any hint of custard, but what to me, was a strange artificial taste. Sorry but I didn't enjoy them at all, despite liking all the other St Pierre products I've tried.
