Best served diced and fried - no need to add any flavour, it's already delish as it is!

Cooking instructions: Shallow Fry

Remove all packaging. Dice into bitesize pieces and pan fry on a medium heat in 1 tbsp oil for 6-9 minutes until crispy, turning halfway through cooking.

Cooking instructions: Air Fry

(Based on 1500 watt and 4.3L capacity). Based on cooking a whole pack. Preheat air fryer to 200°C. Dice into bitesize pieces and cover with 1 tbsp oil. Spread evenly in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 7-12 minutes. Cook times may vary. Do not overload air fryer basket.

Wonderful new flavoured tofuWell worth trying if you love chickpeas (like I do!) because this tofu has a different texture to the soya tofu we’ve all become accustomed to. Soya tofu is firm, bouncy and easily sliced, cubed or grated, and stays in tact while cooking. This chickpea tofu has a softer, more mealy texture which I found absolutely lovely. I made a stir fry with loads of different veggies, and fried the chickpea tofu in the same pan. I started off with half a pack as I was cooking for only me, and then I cubed it, while stirring. This slightly broke up the tofu and it made such a satisfying meal, that I would do it again. The spicing was a bit hot for me and I added a splash of coconut milk. This is a really wonderful addition to a vegan diet and it’s great to try new things. Just don’t be disappointed if it’s not the same as something else! The flavour of the chickpeas comes through even after cooking and somehow it feels more hearty than the clean fresh taste of soya tofu.

A solid tasty tofuReally tasty, I've used it on salads and in a stir fry and it held up really well in both. A nice chilli kick with no faffing about to get flavour into it, and good texture vs some cheap tofu's.
