Preparation and Safety

This product contains raw meat and should be cooked according to packet instructions. After cooking check food is piping hot before serving.

Remove all packaging. All appliances vary, the following are guidelines only.

Cooking instructions: Grill

Preheat grill to medium. Place on rack for 14-16 minutes. Turn occasionally.

Cooking instructions: Shallow Fry

Heat a dessert spoon of oil in a frying pan. Fry on a medium heat for 14-16 minutes, turning regularly. Drain before serving.

Cooking instructions: Oven cook

Preheat oven 190°C, 170°C Fan, Gas Mark 5. Place in roasting tin for 25-30 minutes. Turn half way through cooking.

Cooking instructions: Air Fry

Place sausages in a single layer in the air fryer at 180°C and cook for 8-10 minutes.

Storage

Keep refrigerated. Once opened use within 2 days. Do not exceed the use by date. Suitable for home freezing: Freeze on day of purchase and use within one month. For freezing guidelines consult manufacturer's handbook. To Defrost Defrost thoroughly in the refrigerator before cooking. Once defrosted, use on the same day and do not re-freeze.

The Black Farmer Premium(haha) Pork SausagesI have to agree with a lot of comments on here. Flavour is nice enough but they should say on the packet that the skins are made from Kevlar and I think an Angle Grinder would struggle with these. Won't be buying again.

Sharpen your teeth and your knife for theseThe sausagemeat flavour was fine, but the casing - pure plastic - totally inedible and impossible to cut through. Won't be buying these again.

Lots of fat and minimal flavourMarketed as a premium pork sausage, but significantly worse than the Sainsbury's brand ones. Very fatty (including large, chewy chunks) with minimal taste of meat and minimal seasoning. Did not finish the product.

Tough, chewy skinWhy is the skin so tough on these sausages that you can't bite through it? It makes them useless for sausage sandwiches unless you skin them before cooking. The sausage meat is tasty but it's ruined by the thick skin.
