Preparation and Safety

To Cook Remove all packaging. Cut into 2cm slices and grill or fry on high heat for 4 mins approx. Flip over & repeat. This is a raw product, ensure it is thoroughly cooked before serving.

Refrigerate 0 - 4°C. Consume within 3 days of opening & use by date. Suitable for freezing. Defrost in a fridge and consume within 24hrs. Do not refreeze once defrosted.

Yum!Love this, not had it for years as it wasn't easy to find anywhere.
If you don't like black pudding, do try this, it's delicious and tasty and a great addition to a fry up, or just on its own with some hot crunchy toast.
So pleased Sainsbury's are now selling this.

In Ireland there are dozens of different white pudding makes. Every butcher does his or her own version, but of the commercial manufacturers, I find Clonakilty is a great balance of all the necessary flavours.

Slice into 3/4 inch slices and dry fry each side for about seven or eight minutes with a couple of eggs. Some people ruin it with tomato or brown sauce, but it doesn't need it!

Now, please start stocking the Clonakilty Black Pudding as well.
