Cooking instructions: Hob
To cook on the hob. Before cooking: No need to soak. Rinse thoroughly before cooking. Place 100g lentils into a large saucepan with 500ml of water. During cooking: Bring to boil and boil for 10 minutes. Reduce the heat to low, cover with a lid and simmer for 30 minutes or until the lentils have softened. Drain: Drain thoroughly, rinse and use as required. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only. To cook on the hob 40 mins
