Cooking instructions: Oven
HOW TO COOK TO PERFECTION Pan fry and oven cook from chilled. 1) Preheat oven to 200°C / Fan 180°C / Gas 6. Remove all packaging. Preheat frying pan over a high heat. Rub each steak with 5ml of vegetable oil and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. 2) Pan fry steaks for 3 minutes turning halfway through. 3) Remove from pan and place on a baking tray on the middle shelf of the oven. Cook for a further 15 minutes. 4) Remove from the oven, cover with foil and allow to rest for 2 minutes before serving. Check food is piping hot throughout, all juices run clear and no pink colour remains. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.
