Cooking instructions: Hob
To cook on hob. Before cooking: Place 400ml cold water in a large saucepan. During cooking: Bring to the boil. Add 100g of the polenta gradually to the water. Stir continuously with a whisk. Reduce to low heat and simmer for 1 minute for soft polenta or 5minutes for a firmer texture. Drain: Check food is piping hot. Season to taste and use as required. All cooking appliances vary.
