Cooking instructions: Hob
To cook on the hob. The day before: Soak 100g of soup & stew mix in 500ml of cold water overnight. Before cooking: Drain and rinse thoroughly, place the soaked mix into a large saucepan with 500ml water. During cooking: Bring to the boil and boil for 10 minutes. Reduce the heat to low, cover with a lid and simmer for 40 minutes, until mix has softened but is slightly firm to the bite. After cooking: Drain and rinse thoroughly. Check food is piping hot.
